3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

New users may access a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required for the trial period. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

4.2 Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are €5.00 per horse per month, billed monthly. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method.

4.4 Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period.

5. User Content and Data

5.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to Horse Notebook (horse information, medical records, photos, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

5.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you upload. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in your data.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Harasses, threatens, or abuses others

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horse Notebook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Charleroi, Belgium.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
