1. Information we collect
- Profile data such as your name, organization, and role when you create an account or request a demo.
- Horse- and barn-level records that you voluntarily upload, including health history, training schedules, expenses, media, and comments.
- Usage data, device information, and diagnostics gathered via cookies and analytics providers to keep the platform reliable and secure.
2. How we use data
- Deliver, personalize, and improve the Horse Notebook application and support experience.
- Provide proactive onboarding, product updates, and security notices based on your preferences.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms, including fraud prevention and audit trails.
3. Data sharing
- We never sell customer data. We only share information with vetted subprocessors (hosting, analytics, support desk) under strict DPAs.
- You control which collaborators (trainers, vets, owners) access each horse workspace. Every action is logged with user, time, and device.
- We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of customers and the Horse Notebook team.
4. International transfers
- We host infrastructure in EU and US regions. Data transfers follow SCCs and, where available, localized data residency.
- Customers can request region pinning by contacting privacy@horsenotebook.com.
5. Your rights
- Access, correct, export, or delete personal data at any time by emailing privacy@horsenotebook.com.
- Admins can self-serve data exports per horse or per workspace from the app UI.
